  Shamrock Stables Boarding Kennel

  “First time with Shamrock and I will not be coming back. I recently had to kennel both my 70lbs Labradoodle and mutt for about 5 days and I was not too thrilled upon picking them up. I specifically explained that my mutt has anxiety before dropping them off and I was told that dogs with anxiety get extra attention. I now know this is not the truth. When I picked my dogs up they were they filthy, which I understand happens when kenneling dogs, but what I didn't like is that they both smelled like they had been laying in their own urine. Once I got home I immediately started to bathe the Labradoodle which is when I realized he had dried dog poop caked into one of his back paws which caused skin irritations as well as swollen sores all over his elbows. I then checked my mutt to realize he too had sores on his elbows and his paw pads had been rubbed raw. I had to take both dogs to the vet the next morning which costs me an extra $215. Both dogs had to be put on antibiotics and steroids. So you may think that Shamrock has good prices, but when you add up the vet bills after you pick them up you're mistaken. We have boarded our dogs several times at other locations and have never had any kind of issues like we did at Shamrock. My husband contacted the owner multiple times over a weeks time and the owner continued to avoid having a conversation about the conflict. I am beyond mad about the entire situation!”
